GS Arms is run by a husband & wife team of George & Stephanie Joy.
George is a 12 year combat veteran of the British Army & a military trained weapons technician. George was a member or the British Army Combat Shooting Team for 5 years & was the 1996 British Army Pistol Champion. He also was a member of various unit, regimental & Corps rifle & shotgun teams during his service. He shot his first IPSC match in 1984 & now concentrates on 3 gun matches which are the ultimate test of the shooter & equipment.
Since moving to the United States in 2003, George has consulted for several well known firearms companies & most recently, was employed by a major manufacturer of piston driven AR style rifles as the Vice President of Operations. George is a Life Member of the NRA, USPSA & the North American Hunters Club. He enjoys varmint, big game & waterfowl hunting in addition to 3 Gun & plinking.
Stephanie has over 15 years of experience providing project management, product development, and graphic design experience in both the private sector and has a contractor for the US Department of the Interior.
Stephanie was introduced to firearms in 2003 and she has been an avid shooter/competitor ever since. Stephanie has competed in both IDPA matches and action rifle competitions. Her favorite pastime is to shoot eggs at 200 yards with her custom built AR-15 piston driven rifle. (Valentine's Day present from her husband.)
